M.A.D. Camp

We believe that the creation of Music, Art and Drama are an expression of God’s love. Southminster’s love of art is reflected visually throughout our church, musically and dramatically in our worship, and artistically in various activities and learning opportunities.

Each summer, Southminster hosts a Music, Art and Drama Camp (M.A.D. Camp) for elementary-aged children in the church community and local community. The camp is one week long and runs from morning to noon with various musical, artistic and dramatic activities. Each day ends with a lunch together provided by the Beaverton School District.

Scholarships are available through the Office for those who would like to attend but need some assistance. The camp usually runs in the month of July, the actual dates of the camp are decided on in January and registration materials are available in May.
