Thank you to everyone for your continued support. Pastor Manoj Magar, director of Rays of HOPE Ministries and ASHALAYA children’s home, had a nice visit at Southminster in May. Thank you all for welcoming him! Summer vacation has now come to a close here in India. My holiday classes for the girls at the children’s home were a big hit. My youngest students learned how to write their names and practiced counting, along with enjoying daily story time. The nine- to thirteen-year-olds learned their times tables and how to add and subtract. The fourteen-year-olds learned English through Bible study. And for my 16- to 18-year-olds, I was able to do a computer class at my apartment, giving me an opportunity to connect with them away from the hubbub of the children’s home. Please continue to keep me and ASHALAYA in your prayers as the new school year gets underway.
