As Pastor John has already announced, Sunday, June 19, Southminster is hosting 50 General Assembly Commissioners and guests for worship and a luncheon after worship. We were selected to be a hosting congregation because of our Earth Care certification. To go along with that theme, the potluck will be vegetarian dishes.
Besides providing food, help is needed to set up food serving tables on Saturday the 18th; change the sanctuary into an eating area and back into a worship setting after lunch; work in the kitchen organizing the food; and finally clean up.
