As you have probably noticed, re-roofing Southminster’s flat roof areas has been underway for the past couple of weeks. Yippee! If the weather cooperates, we can expect that the new roof will be completed before we head into May.
Our Roofing Consultant, Keith Schaber, continues to monitor the process for quality control, assuring that we receive the best roof possible for our money. He will approve a detailed pick list at completion before giving the “OK to Pay” to further protect our interests.
Material expenses of around $85,000 have gone out already, and final end-of-project payments will soon be due. So thank you for maintaining your pledges and for all of your gifts that have helped to make our new roof a reality.
