Intergenerational Outreach Choirs (IOC) connects generations of girls and women through song. Its music director is Crystal Akins who formerly led the children’s choir at Southminster. This year, IOC presents the second annual Mamalogues Benefit Concert + Silent Auction on Mother’s Day, May 8 at 3:00pm at Southminster. Your support helps IOC bring music to women in the Coffee Creek Correctional Facility (women’s prison) and their children, to the homeless who reside in Dignity Village, to elders who live in assisted living homes, and to immigrants seeking a musical community to which they belong.
